Cilantro
This member of the carrot family is also referred to as Chinese Parsley and Coriander. Cilantro has a very pungent odor and is widely used in Mexican, Caribbean and Asian cooking.
 
Dill
Dill has a refreshing aroma and delicious tang, either fresh or dried. Snip fresh leaves into soups and salads. The seeds are a must for homemade pickling.
 
Parsley
A bright green herb, used as a seasoning and a garnish. It adds a clean, fresh flavor and color to any dish. There are two varieties - curly leaf which has a mild taste and flat leaf which has a more pungent taste.
 
Thyme
One of the most versatile herbs, thyme enhances so many savory dishes. Before adding fresh thyme to a dish, the grayish-green leaves should be stripped from the woody stem.
